Fire and Rescue school visit
Fantastic fire visit
LVI enjoyed a fantastic afternoon when the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue team came to visit us on Thursday afternoon. The session included talking to the pupils about the dangers of fire and more importantly what to do if they found a fire in their homes.
We are hoping that all the LVI pupils come home and ask to make a fire plan at home. We also talked about road safety, in particular about the importance of wearing seatbelts. We were really lucky to finish the afternoon by having a look at the Fire Engine.
Well done to LVI for asking lots of sensible questions. Pupils have brought home a useful booklet about Fire Safety, so ask to see it!
