The Big Sing

On Tuesday this week 9 members of our choir visited Westville House School to take part in a ‘Big sing’
along with several other local schools. The children were treated to a fantastic day orchestrated by Charles
MacDougall a British tenor, choral amateur and vocal coach. A founder-member of the vocal ensemble
VOCES8, with whom he performed for 7 years, Charles now regularly appears as a soloist with ensembles
throughout the UK and abroad. In the evening parents and friends were treated to a concert performed by
all the children on the songs they had learnt that day. They were all amazing and blew us away with their
confidence, assuredness and enthusiasm.
